Jenny McIntyre
Youth and Community Worker
In September 2009 Jenny’s huge character shone through 22 other applicants to be appointed as our Youth and Community Worker in November 2009. Her record of success in her role as Chair of Bishops Green Community Association together with her 7 years experience as a volunteer Youth Worker at Bishops Green meant that Jenny was ideally placed to quickly implement our successful model of Community Youth Work at Greenham.
Alex McIntyre
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Alex is a PCSO based in Newbury Town Centre. Alex, better known as Sandy, is a key member of the team giving support 24/7. Sandy is well known for his no nonsense approach. Sandy has since become a keen music trainee on Tuesday evenings at The Music Project.
Jackie Radbourne
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Jackie works full time as a security receptionist. Jackie is extremely artistic and supportive; she is always on hand to listen to the young people, gaining her the title of Agony Aunt. She is happy, outgoing and great fun always up for a laugh and always enthusiastic to roll up her sleeves and muck in.
Jimmy Radbourne
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Jimmy works full time as an activity organiser. He is very laid back and his calm approach works wonders with the young people, he is always willing to chat and listen to them. Full of enthusiasm and life Jimmy loves to deliver weird and wacky challenges and competitions for the young people.
Sharon Marshall
Trustee andVolunteer Youth Support Worker
Sharon is a lunchtime supervisor at the local Willows Primary School she was the first resident of Greenham to become involved with the youth project. Sharon is always keen, calm, artistic and a fun member of staff, always supportive and ready to help. Sharon loves to be front of house in the Internet Cafe.
Wendy Fox
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Wendy was a quiet member of the team; she is kind and caring and also enjoys arts and crafts. Wendy has grown in confidence since she began volunteering so much so she has returned to work. A happy member of the team whose is always on standby to pitch in and get on with the job.
Charlotte Kennedy – Leech
Trustee andVolunteer Youth Support Worker
Charlotte is a full time mum whose has become very pro-active in the Greenham Community. She is the Events Coordinator for the Greenham Community Centre. Always supportive and ready get stuck in to the next task, full of energy and enthusiasm and a great sense of humour. Always introduced lately as Jenny’s right hand lady!
Andy Kennedy – Leech
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Andy works as a foreman at Veolia and has recently joined our team. Andy is calm and laid back; he enjoys most aspects of volunteering and is always up for participating in fun challenges and competitions alongside the young people. Andy is enjoying having fun with the team. Andy has since become a music trainee on Tuesday evenings at The Music Project.
Kay Wallin
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Kay has been a qualified hairdresser for many years. She has a happy go lucky approach to life, bubbly and loves to chat and have fun. Kay likes to have a go at most aspects of volunteering and enjoys being part of the team.
Michelle Dymond
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Michelle works full time and is our first Pigeons Farm resident to volunteer. Michelle originally started with us at The Nightingales estate, but has since moved with Jenny to provide Pigeons Farm’s first youth club session delivered by Community Youth Project. Michelle has a great sense of humour, loves to try anything and is keen to encourage more residents of Pigeons Farm to join us.
Jack Bennett
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Jack is a full time student at university and also volunteers at Newbury Police Station. Jack is one of our youngest volunteer’s who is happy, sporty, full of life and enthusiastic to get stuck in and have a go. Always keen to assist and encourage the young people to feel part of our group, Jack is a fantastic role model for them.
Collette Dunn
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Collette is one of our newest volunteers; she is keen to become an active member of our team, at present Collette is one of our quietist volunteers, but once her confidence has grown she will be able to relax and enjoy being part of the group. Collette tries hard to fit in.
Sophie Dunn
Volunteer Youth Support Worker
Sophie works full time and is our other young adult to volunteer. She volunteers at our junior club and is into football, pool and most sports; she too is keen to become an active part of the team. Sophie is laid back and reasonably quiet. She is trying hard to become a good role model to the younger members.
